WEBZILLA Offers Clients More Scaling Opportunities with New Juniper Hardware
30 March 2012WEBZILLA improved the infrastructure of its data centers by switching to the Juniper network equipment.
This innovation allows WEBZILLA to respond faster to its customers, large web projects with high demands, for quality service needs. WEBZILLA will be able to provide faster scalability and better performance with the Juniper hardware.
WEBZILLA began installing the Juniper hardware in November 2011, and has fully completed the transition to the equipment. Now, both Webzilla’s data centers in the USA and the Netherlands use Juniper hardware.
WEBZILLA’s data center has switched to the Juniper edge-router MX960, which allows unhindered scalability while avoiding complication of network design. This router, combined with the use of EX Series access switches, gives each server rack a minimum of 10 Gbps connectivity that can be easily increased to 40 Gbps. Webzilla also plans to introduce the first 100GE connectivity to transit providers.
WEBZILLA has made it its goal to always provide the best performance to its customers. In an effort to maintain this goal, WEBZILLA increased the capacity of the company’s data centers to exceed 1000 Gbps. In an effort to make the customer experience even better, the company solves all routing and traffic issues for its clients by having connection with multiple Tier 1 providers. By improving its infrastructure with first-class hardware from Juniper, WEBZILLA has yet again made efforts to offer the highest quality services possible.
“It was a hard decision to migrate our huge network to another hardware vendor,” said Konstantin Bezruchenko, chief technology officer at WEBZILLA. “But our customer’s demands are our highest priority and, thanks to Juniper's hardware and perfect delivery times, we were able to complete migration in a short time frame with minimal service disruptions. Now we can concentrate on further growth.”
Nico van Buitenen, sales director of Service Providers Benelux for Juniper Networks adds: “We are very proud that the Juniper products fit so well within WEBZILLA’s infrastructure and we are convinced the Juniper solutions will provide increased customer experience and performance for WEBZILLA’s customers.”
